Die-casting refers to the process in which the elements are first molted and are then molded in different shapes by the use of molds in different shapes. For die casting pressure, force and heat is required and is very essential. Molding of different elements differs in size and shape according to its use in different organizations. Some times small blacks are required where as some require huge blocks. Extrusion is the main process in which the metal is heated in order to form it in molten form. The extrusion process is very useful as it allows the weak metal fabrication. Anodizing is the process in which the oxides layer is formed on the anode. The anodizing method is used in order to preserve the metal from the corrosion. This makes the layer thicker and fine.

Fabrication is the similar process as mention above but uses different techniques. The fabrication makes different designs on the metal and use weak metals; in which the metal is shaped by applying the external compressive forces. There are mainly three types of forging: cold forging, warm forging and hot forging. Grinding is a process in which extra finishing is obtained by making light cuts and grinding the irregular parts. Heat-treating is the method in which the metals are heated in order to change their physical properties and some time their chemical properties. In this method, the material such as glass is heated to make it more hard and strong.

Investment casting is the oldest method of forming material. Almost 5000 years before the beeswax try to form the pattern but not high technology alloys are formed from this process. These investment castings processes provide accurate results by repeating the process repeatedly. Laser cutting is the type of cutting metal with the help of laser beam. Laser beam either melts or burns the metal or vaporizes or blow away the metal. It requires high power laser beam, which cuts the metal with high quality laser finishing on their surface. The laser is usually a computerize process and no manually help is needed in it. Welding is the most important and common type of metal forming in which different part of metals are joined together to form a frame for different purpose. This process involves heating the metal, which melts, and joins, after cooling the joints hardens and become very strong. Roll forming is the process in which the metal is passed from the rolls to form a very thin sheet. These rolls press the metal sheet and make it as thin as possible. These thin sheets are used for different purposes. These rollers used to bend the ends of metal. They give different shapes and forms to the edge of the metal sheets.

Cnc machining is the latest technology and uses automotive soft-wares to perform different processes. These cnc machines are the computer numeric control machines that are very common and reduce the cost of labor.
